Introducing...
Possibility in Process
Hi there, dear newsletter subscribers!
I am here to welcome you to Possibility in Process, my newsletter that has transformed on this platform from “Take Care Take Action”.
There are a few reasons I decided to change the name of this virtual space. I’m not so convinced that Substack is the ~platform for me~ as I still miss my Tiny Letter newsletter days. Though, alas, you’re all here, and for that, I am grateful to connect.
I’ve been doing a bit of restructuring in how I see myself in relation to my work, my offerings, and my creative expressions and that the through line of all of this is… PROCESS baby.
Liliana Coelho is me (hi!), but also is the website where my personal and professional interests intersect. Take Care Take Action continues to be the thread for what I call my creative operations business, but there are many other projects brewing inside of me! This newsletter, Possibility in Process, is the basis for where I can share more in newsletter form. liliana_irl is my instagram account where I do the same, but via that social platform. And hey, if you ever want, find me on LinkedIn where it I use it to shout things out, but of course with that ~professional~ lens ;)
I see iteration / digestion / ideation / experimentation (aka process) as how life keeps moving. And that it is this continual movement and motion that truly makes life possible. I believe that collectively and individually, we are forever in a messy middle. By embracing it, we remember there is never really any end-point (perhaps one could argue death as the end-all-be-all of one’s personal process, but I argue ~life~ continues to iterate itself beyond human form. Perhaps death is a process, too, aye?).
The possibility in a process gives me hope. It orients me toward forgiveness, builds on momentum, eases my perfectionistic tendencies, allows me to see life in the long-view. Process reminds me I’m always learning.
Possibility in process is what makes up maintenance and operations work, and it is also what comprises meaningful relationships and community building. Processing material fuels the circular economy, and processing tools are what we use to find peace within ourselves.
Possibility in Process is a newsletter from me to you, to share my reflections, experiments, and connections from my corner of the internet. Possibility in process is returning to the “forever questions” of life — and there is something in my own process that wants to be witnessed here.
So, thanks for reading!
take care,
Liliana
